Chris and Shelly's wedding at the Castle at Ashley Manor, June 19, 2010

Chris and Shelly selected the Castle at Ashley Manor for their fairy tale wedding.  Their theme was castle/fairy tale.  They had so many details I had to show some here.  It looks like Shelly was really busy before the wedding getting everything ready!

When the ceremony started the ring bearer and flower girl were so cute.  They stopped at the top of the gazebo to discuss what they should do next.  The ring bearer then started throwing rose petals to help the little flower girl get started.  It was so adorable as they made their way down the aisle.  After the ceremony, Chris and Shelly came up their rose petal strewn aisle and took some time for some photos before heading into their reception.  It looks like they really enjoyed their yummy cake.  They decided on a cruise for their honeymoon.  I am sure they are having a fabulous time.  Congrats to Chris and Shelly!

Baby Zoe

We took newborn photos for baby Zoe.  Also had to show off her cute little hands and feet.  An extra special photo was done as well - a four generation photo!

Ed and Erica's Engagement photos at Tempe Town Lake and Papago Park

We had a great time getting to know Ed and Erica.  We are so lucky to get to work with all of our great couples.  For Ed and Erica we started out with photos at Tempe Town Lake - which was special to them since that is where Ed proposed to her!  After that we headed over to Papago Park and did some photos with their fur baby, Roxy, as well.  The session ended with a spectacular sunset.  Luckily for us, Ed and Erica with ok with a little rock climbing to get these dramatic shots!

Richard and Jo Anne's Wedding at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and The Castle at Ashley Manor, Chandler, Arizona June 5, 2010

Richard and Jo Anne's day started out at the Ritz Carlton where the girls were getting ready.  We were supposed to some formal photos there, but due to a glitch at the hair salon the girls barely got ready in time to hop in the limo for the ceremony.  The ceremony was at the historic Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in downtown Phoenix,  which is featured on the National Register of Historic Places.  Jo Anne and the girls made it in time for the ceremony and Jo Anne headed down the aisle on her dad's arm to a waiting Richard.  Richard and Jo Anne have known each other since Jr. high so they had been waiting a long time for this day!  We found that Jo Anne never stops smiling as you can see from the ceremony photos.  After the wedding the happy couple did a dramatic dove release, then back in the limo to head to the Castle at Ashley Manor.  More photos were done there, then they went into their reception where the bride's sisters made everyone laugh with their toasts (Jo Anne was smiling again!).  Then after their choreographed first dance with a romantic dip at the end... we found out that Richard is a party animal.  Check out some of his dance moves.  We ended the night with a photo out in front of the beautiful castle.  Then Richard and JoAnne were off the next day to Hawaii.  Congrats to Richard and Jo Anne!

Russell and Deborah's Wedding at the Secret Garden in Phoenix, Arizona June 4, 2010

Deborah and Russell's big day went perfectly!  We arrived at the Secret Garden to get some pre-ceremony photos with the girls.  Then we were on to the ceremony in the beautiful setting of the Secret Garden.  Russ and Deborah couldn't quit smiling during their vows.  Afterwards, we took their first official family photo with Russ' son Brenden AKA the ring bearer.  The wedding party was great to work with as well.  We then had time for some quick photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. before they went into their reception. Their DJ had everyone in stiches when wedding guests and members of the wedding party participated in a talent show.  When it was time to cut the cake Brenden got a taste too.  We ended the evening with a night light photo with the romantic twinkle lights in front of the Secret Garden.  Congrats to Russell and Deborah!

Nic and Christine's Engagement Session

We had a great time doing Nic and Christine's photos.  We ended up at a park with lots of Canadian geese.  We thought it would be fun if Nic and Christine ran through the geese and all the geese would fly up in the air for a dramatic photo.  Well the geese didn't like our idea - they weren't going anywhere.  We still got them in a photo though!

Kevin and Mallory's Engagement Session at Scottsdale Civic Center

Kevin and Mallory chose Scottsdale Civic Center for their engagement session.  They are such a fun couple - we are looking forward to doing their wedding photos.  We won't have to wait long since their wedding is this July!
