Luc and Jessica's Wedding at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort in Chandler, AZ October 17, 2009

Luc and Jessica are from Arizona, but are currently living in Hawaii while finishing school.  So they planned their Arizona wedding long distance from Hawaii!  We had an awesome day with Luc, Jessica, wedding party and family.  We got to photograph at a beautiful resort that we really enjoyed - the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass.  Their resort coordinator, Sandra Bohn, was a big help with their long distance planning and made sure that their day went perfectly.

 

Meet Rocky - their pet lava rock from Hawaii.  Rocky was around all day and even attended the ceremony!

 

The ceremony was on the Akimel lawn - a gorgeous outdoor setting surrounded by water.

 

It was unseasonably warm, but Luc was a good sport about the heat. 

Once the ceremony ended and it was a bit cooler outside we headed out for a few more scenic photos, including the stunning lobby of the Wild Horse Pass.

 

I am including some of the wedding details here.  We see alot of wedding cakes, but even we were impressed by the presentation of their cake with all of the luscious berries by Robert's Catering of Chandler.  And their bride and groom bottle covers were a first for us! 

 

Luc and Jessica kicked off the reception with their first dance as husband and wife.  We ended the night with a silhouette photo of the two of them.  Just think for their honeymoon all they had to do was go back home to Hawaii! 

 

 

Baby Eden's Photos

This was our second session with Eden.  We love her big, blue eyes.  What a cutie!

 

Eden decided that she needed a break for modeling and decided to enjoy a nice, cool bottle of apple juice.  She also wanted her favorite tiger to lay on as well.  Of course she was enjoying everyone catering to her every need!

Greg, Terri and lots of animals!

If you go back in our blog you will see Greg and Terri's photo from last year.  In fact, we have been doing their "family" photo for 13 years.  Their current family photo consists of two humans, five horses and four dogs.  When we were first setting up and testing our lights, etc.. we captured a "behind the scenes look" at just how many people it takes to actually pull this photo off.  Terri and Greg use their annual photo to send out holiday cards to friends and family.  It has become a tradition for them.  We look forward to doing their photo each year. 

 

Jamie and Joel's Maternity Session

Joel and Jamie met each other years ago as Freshmen in high school.  They since finished college, got married and now are starting the new adventure of parenthood!   They are expecting baby Lucas in November and decided to get some belly shots done before the big day arrives.  Here are some cute photos:

 

Bob and Heidi's Wedding at Lon's at the Hermosa Inn, September 25, 2009

Bob and Heidi had a small, intimate wedding at the beautiful Lon's at the Hermosa Inn in Paradise Valley.  There to celebrate with them, and form a new family, were his two kids and her two kids.  After the ceremony we spent time taking some photos around the grounds.  The Hermosa Inn has a unique character about it and everywhere we turned we found a new, scenic spot for a photo op.  The happy couple celebrated by having a delicious dinner at which they were toasted by both their best man and their maid of honor.  Bob and Heidi opted to honeymoon on the beach in California - where it is much cooler then here! 

Nick and Bernadette's Engagement Photos in Pinetop, Arizona

Once again we had a great couple that wanted to leave the Valley for their engagement photos.  Since it was still pretty warm here they chose a location in Pinetop where Bernadette's family has a condo.  The area was beautiful with green grass and tall pines.  Along with Bernadette and Nick was their cute little son Panch.  It took some doing but Jeff let Panch play with the toys that he keeps in his camera bag to amuse children at photo shoots.  After the nice cool weather we hated to return to the heat of the valley.  BTW if anyone wants to do nice, cool photos in the summer we know of a nice place to go :)

 

Nicole's Website photos

Nicole is an upcoming bride of ours.  She called us with and interesting proposition.  She is creating a website that relates to some of her life experiences and wanted a fun way to kick it off.  The website's theme is Crazy in Heels (we will post more info on this later once the site is up).  In keeping with her theme Nicole brought a variety of her favorite shoes.  With the use of a trendy Scottsdale location we came up with some fun, playful shots to fit in with her vision of the images she wanted for her site.  Nicole we wish you the best with your endeavors!
