Don and Heather's Wedding at the Castle at Ashley Manor November 5, 2009

Don and Heather took full advantage of the scenes at the Castle by doing photos before and after their ceremony.  They chose the gazebo for their ceremony site, and decorated it with beautiful flowers.  As the ceremony ended they danced together down the aisle to "I Feel Good" and had everyone laughing. At the end of their cocktail hour they were treated to a dramatic sunset, then went in for a night of toasting, cake and dancing. The bride and groom danced and danced - they definitely know how to party!  Jeff Nelson was their DJ and he kept the party going till the end.      

Baby Lucas' newborn photos

We did Jamie's maternity photos a few posts back - she and Joel made such a cute couple in those images.  They called us with the good news that little Lucas had arrived.  We were happy to go over and meet the little guy and do his newborn photos.  We love cute little babies!

Darin and Kathy's Wedding at the Millenium Resort in Scottsdale November 21, 2009

Another great couple and another fun day!  We have such a great job... Darin and Kathy chose the Millenium Resort in the McCormick Ranch area of Scottsdale.  As you can see their wedding party was lots of fun for photos.  The ceremony was beautiful at the lakeside setting at the resort.  After the ceremony and some more fun photos, the bride and groom had a traditional tea ceremony, which was followed by a wonderful reception.  Check out the room shots! The room was gorgeous.  Overseeing the day to make sure it was perfect was Krista, the onsite coordinator.  And keeping the party going was DJ Erik Hampton at www.gotyoucovered.com.  A fun night was had by all!

Harp music at Wedding Ceremonies

Every once in awhile we will see VeeRonna Ragone at a wedding, performing her beautiful harp music as the bride walks down the aisle. VeeRonna always has a smile on her face and is an amazing harpist.  You can learn more about her at www.ducevas.com

Richard and JoAnne's Engagement Session at Scottsdale Civic Center

Richard and JoAnne have been together since they met in Junior high!  JoAnne told us that Richard normally doesn't smile in photos, but that she really wanted him to smile in these.  So we spent the rest of the day making Richard smile :)  They told us the had a great time and loved the photos. 

Leif and Nicki's Engagement Session at Scottsdale Civic Center and Papago Park

Our Scottsdale Civic Center/Papago Park combo for engagement sessions has been really popular lately.  And we can see why - couples get to use two great scenes in one day.  Leif and Nicki knew it was a great choice for them.  Leif even brought his motorcycle along for photos at Papago as well.  The mountain scenes are great for a bike.  These photos were completed just in time for Leif and Nicki to be able to use them for a Christmas Card/Save the Dates to get the word out of their upcoming nuptials to their friends and relatives. We are looking forward to being a part of their big day next May.

Manny and Isabel's wedding at the Newman Center and Camelback Inn's Lakeview Inn November 14, 2009

We do so many outdoor weddings that we enjoy a change of scenery to a historic church when the opportunity arises.  The Newman Center by ASU is perfect for a wedding with it's steeple and long staircase in the front for the bride's dramatic entrance.  After their vows, Manny and Isabel ran out to their guests blowing bubbles their way.  We quickly did a few photos around ASU (Isabel's Alma Mater) and then the newlyweds hopped into their rolls for the ride over to Lakeview Inn.  At their reception they did a family tradition called "crazy hour" and it was crazy!  Their guests were having a ball!  We ended the night with some fun with sparklers.
