Brian and Nicole's Engagement Photos at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort

Brian and Nicole's wedding will be at the Montelucia.  They love the site and thought it would also be great for their engagement session as well.  We had a great time doing these photos with them and can't wait for their wedding to do even more!

Jared and Jennifer's Wedding at the Castle at Ashley Manor, July 23, 2010

We thought Jared and Jen were great - they loved taking photos as much as we did.  So with that in mind I decided to make this blog all about them.  There were so many photos of the two of them I had a hard time choosing images for this blog.  We started out early, before the ceremony with just the two of them, and then later during their cocktail hour we even squeezed in a few more.  Then we noticed the beautiful sunset and they were game for that too!  Right now as I write this post Jared and Jen are in Jamaica.  They said they were going to check the blog to see if their wedding is up - so here it is.  Hope you are enjoying your honeymoon :)

Matt and Brenna's Wedding, Oak Creek, Arizona July 17, 2010

We always like to hear all the details about the weddings we are doing.  Matt and Brenna's story is pretty cool in that they decided to get married at a cabin that Brenna's family has vacationed at for years - right by the bank of Oak Creek near Sedona.  Matt and Brenna opted for a laid-back celebration with their closest friends and family in attendance.  The weather was gorgeous - and a refreshing change for the hot valley!  After the ceremony their guests were treated to a steak dinner - bar b qued by none other than Brenna's dad.  We also have to give credit to mom for the appetizers and side dishes:)  Everyone loved the food and the creekside ambiance.  The cupcakes (made by one of Brenna's bridesmaids) were a big hit as well.   Congrats to Matt and Brenna!

Kevin and Mallory's Wedding at the Castle at Ashley Manor, Chandler, AZ July 10, 2010

Kevin and Mallory had a "royal" wedding at where else?  The Castle at Ashley Manor.  They are a super fun couple with a great sense of humor - a perfect match for each other.   We loved all of their special touches from Kevin's cuff links to their "royal court".  They opted for an indoor ceremony due to the warm Arizona weather.  Later, their guests had a great time dancing the night away to the sound of JJ's Band.  We thought they did a great job keeping the party going til the end.  Congrats to Kevin and Mallory!

Tommy and Sarah's Engagement Photos in Sedona, Arizona

Since it is very hot in the valley in July - Sarah and Tommy decided to do their engagement photos in Sedona.  It was 113 here and around 90 there so we couldn't agree with them more on the location choice.  We utilized a variety of beautiful scenes, and  near the end of the shoot Sarah and Tommy decided to take off their shoes and go wading in Oak Creek.  Sarah had been waiting for this moment all afternoon!  We all had fun, enjoyed a gorgeous evening, but had to head back to the heat :(

Kyle and Lindsay's Engagement Photos at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon

A great opportunity came up this July for us and one of our couples.  We had recently met with Lindsay whose fiancee lives in Oregon.  We mentioned that it would be great to do their engagement session up where Kyle lives.  We were going to be in Portland for a bit and Lindsay thought it just might work out since she spends part of the summer with him.  Portland is so nice and green and cool in the summer I think we were all motivated to make it work.  I suggested that we meet by the Portland Zoo and work our way over to the Rose Gardens  The scenery was so different from what we are used to here in the desert.  The Rose Garden in Portland is just gorgeous - and the fragrance of thousands of roses is quite an experience.  Here are some of the moments that we captured:

Jeremy and Christine's Wedding at St. Anne's Catholic Church and Seville Country Club, Gilbert, Arizona June 26, 2010

Jeremy and Christine chose to have their traditional ceremony at St. Anne's church in Gilbert.  In the middle of the ceremony the little ring bearer decided to take a walk.  He was having fun till mom made him sit back down!  After some altar photos the bride and groom ran out through their streamer waving guests.  Once at Seville we got some quick photos of the beautiful ballroom and cake then had some time for wedding party and bride and groom photos before the reception started.  The flower girl was so cute - I like the way she is standing with her little shoes crossed.  Then it was on to the first dance.  We loved the ambiance in the room created by the gold draping.  When it was time for Christine to throw the bouquet who would have known that the flowers would go right into the draping!  That didn't stop the girls from pursuing the bouquet though.  I bet that will be fun to watch on the video by Serendipity.    After the toss Jeremy and Christine danced the night away with their family and friends.  Congrats to Jeremy and Christine!
